This private episode is a bit personal... I discuss the issue of elitism and hierarchy in the music education sector, particularly in the choir world. I illustrate this by sharing some stories that I can't/won't share on the public podcast about different times that I have been treated in a dismissive way based on my "day job." But, also a time when someone tried to COMPLIMENT me by saying I was not "JUST" a high school choir teacher.
