Summer 2023 has seen a weekly lineup of incredible and ground breaking conversations. From calls to be more aware of our political role as artists with Melissa Dunphy as well as the caution of an over politicized environment with Beth and I, to the recipe for success in Title 1 Schools in with Mark Bailey, the summer shows have been wide ranging as well as practical. We discussed the recipe for a choral revival via entrepreneurship with Ryan Main as well as a review of recent literate on gender disparity in choral music with Melissa Baughman.
Zanaida Robles joined me for a refreshing and vulnerable discussion about the value of connection and the intentional creation of context. John C. Hughes had some great advice for young conductors, and the Choralosophers Facebook page had a livestream conversation that I later posted as an episode. See below for the full June and July list of shows.
